Story
Charles, a retiree, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Remake of Salainen Agent Vanhainkodissa (2020). I’m not a binge watcher, but we destroyed the entire season on the first night. It has that right mix of warm, funny, sad, deep with a story that makes you want to stay out of it. Ted Danson is great of course, but Stephanie Beatriz (Diaz in '99) is great and her character is someone you would want to spend all your time with. The story is set in San Francisco, which of course helps my rating, but above all, although it is very sad at times, it is a comedy and gives you hope for the future as we all get a little older. A solid eight out of ten for me, one for all ages and who knows, I hope for another season.
